Lazy Hazy Days of Summer

We love, love, love those last hazy, lazy days of summer before we start buying pencils, paper, notebooks, pens, backpacks, and all the other school supplies. We love the watermelon, corn on the cob, last swims at the pool, barbecues, and summer parties.

They are the coolest memories of our childhood we want to share with our children. The playing softball at the park with our friends, sharing popsicles, and other frozen goodies, right before we are consigned back into the classroom to learn, learn, learn.

Leaps and Bounds Dance Academy has fun last of summer excitement at the studio with the first annual audition for performing companies. It will give our little ones something to concentrate on and enjoy as they flow into fall. We are having auditions on Saturday after the parents information meeting tonight, and boy we are excited!

If you are interested be sure and attend the Parent meeting tonight at 8 pm and all of your questions regarding who, what, where and why will be answered in full. This will be a great opportunity to have your dancers learn poise while performing and gain confidence in their abilities. It will also give them new skills, and help them to develop friendships.

As part of our new performing groups we will be staging a Fairytale ballet in January with opportunities for solo roles, as well as fun troupe numbers to participate in. More details to come!

Fall is coming and our classes are filling up fast so be sure to get your dancer signed up for the classes you want.

As always, we have all that your little dancer will need for purchase at our front desk. We carry studio quality leotards, ballet slippers, tap shoes, foot undies, and tights at discounted prices so our parents, who are already running all over for back to school, will not also have to run all over looking for dance supplies.

We are very happy to be starting our fourth year here at the studio, and can't believe it has come so quickly. We are always exploring new ideas, and fine tuning your studio experience, so please feel free to offer suggestions. We may implement them or just consider them, but they are always welcome.
