This has been an especially weird and wild year! Who would have dreamed that the scary movies about a pandemic would ever come true, and yet they have. It seems like some scary Halloween thriller that we are still dealing with the effects of Covid19. And it seems like we will be for awhile yet, so this will be anything BUT a normal Halloween! Hopefully by next year we will be back to the normal, scary, fun, silly Halloween filled with Tricks and Treats.

In the meantime, thankfully we have activities to take our minds off dealing with it and one of those that is especially fun is dance. The little kids can come and get all their little wiggle bugs out while learning how to do some amazing steps. Whether you are inclined toward ballet, hiphop, tap, jazz or modern, we have you covered. Indulge your inner dancer as well, and come take one of our adult classes.

We continue to take the threat of Covid19 seriously, and have many steps in place to make sure that our studio is sanitized and our students maintain social distance. Check out our video on our website for more details.

Happy Birthday to our little ghosts:

Oct 10 - Arya Marrero

Oct 14 - Angela Cisneros

Oct 24 - Marissa Burdett

Oct 27 - Jayla Webb

Oct 28 - Renara Lott

Well, 2020 has certainly been a year like no other so it was no surprise when a 100 mile an hour wind tore out trees, ripped roofs off buildings, and brought down power poles. This has been a year of the weird and unexpected for sure. The first pandemic in 100 years, an earthquake, and temperatures that broke records on both the warm and cold sides of the thermometer. We are into the 9th month this year, and hopefully the windstorm was the worst we will have for the rest of the year. Maybe by the end of the year we will even have a COVID19 vaccination.

We had a different, but awesome recital the first part of August, and we were grateful to be able to do that. Hopefully by next year we will be back to a full production. On the fun side of things, we are back at the studio and going strong. We have made contingencies for Covid19 at our studio, including a lot of cleaning and sanitizing and keeping the kids 6 ft apart and socially distanced. The parents have been incredible in helping with all this! We have gone back to allowing parents to wait in the lobby for their children, as long as they wear a mask and social distance. That way parents can watch their children dance on our front TV screen.

In September, if you sign up now for classes, we are offering $20 off for the first month. That is the best deal we have ever offered and are excited to see many of our last year students take advantage of this special. Just use coupon code FLASH when you sign up online. We have a talented new tap teacher, Eddie Hoyt, who is doing a lot of fun things for our tap program. Or take advantage of our all boys Hip Hop class with our Hip Hop teacher Brooklyn. The kids really love her, she is so spontaneous and fun.

In the meantime, stay safe, stay healthy and come dance, dance, dance.

It is almost time for our annual recital (s), and we are so excited to see our dancers show you what they have learned this year. We are hopeful that by next year we will be able to have a normal recital. But we are happy for our dancers to have the opportunity even in this pandemic environment to show off their skills.

A few items to note:

  • Our classes for 2020 - 2021 are posted online at the website. Go out and sign up for a class or two! Or stop by and say hi and sign up at the studio. Classes fill up quickly though, so if you want a certain time, day or style sooner is better. We offer a discount for siblings.

  • Our Openhouse is August 14th from 10 AM to 2 PM. We will be having cotton candy so come get a cotton candy, see our studio, ask any questions you might have. We are excited for our new year of dance!

  • We want to keep all of our students, teachers and parents safe during this global pandemic. So we have put into place sanitation procedures and social distancing procedures.
